GOAL 5: GENDER EQUALITY & WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT
- Estimates published by WHO indicate that globally about 1 in 3 (30%) of women worldwide have been subjected to either physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime.
- “Women have the power to turbocharge the sputtering global economy,” said Indermit Gill, Chief Economist of the World Bank Group. However, the latest ‘Women, Business, and the Law’ reported several obstacles that women face and it assessed the gap between legal reforms and actual outcomes for women in 190 economies. The analysis reveals the shocking implementation gap between existence of laws and their reach to the needy.
LEGAL SUPPORT TO WOMEN
We at N&N Partners are committed to helping women who are in need of legal support but are unable to have access to any legal means. Our firm extends a helping hand to these women in need of support through free legal advice and filing of cases particularly related to Domestic Violence or other reliefs needed by women from underprivileged backgrounds, thereby making a meaningful contribution to the cause of women empowerment.
GENDER EQUALITY AWARENESS SESSIONS
We at N&N Partners are committed to contribute our bit in spreading awareness about Gender Equality by conducting awareness sessions on laws related to women including the POSH Laws.
